American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began in supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson in the FX show Dirt. She also had a supporting part in the short-lived FX series The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the third season. She was Jessie Anderson's character in AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie was her role in The NBC show This Is Us. She has voiced various characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. They were able to move around for a year before eventually moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge became interested in acting, photography and singing at the age of 13. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
